Romana King is a Toronto-based writer, editor and blogger for business and lifestyle publications and a licensed realtor with Century21. Romana currently writes a regular column and blog for Money Sense Magazine that focuses on homeowner and real estate issues. She has regularly contributed to Business Edge, CI Top Broker, Advisor.ca, Advisor’s Edge, Check UP!, CBC.ca, Toronto Sun and the Toronto Star.

In May 2011, Romana completed both her Canadian Securities Course and her real estate registration courses.

Among her achievements, Romana was nominated for a 2010 KRW Business Journalism award and, as Editor of CI Top Broker, guided her magazine to obtain its first KRW Business Journalism nomination. In 2011, Romana was part of the team that helped MoneySense magazine win Magazine of the Year at the 34th annual National Magazine Awards. MoneySense was honoured by the judges for offering “information and inspiration” to Canadian families who need to manage their own investing and retirement.

While Romana has extensive experience working in print and providing custom editorial, she’s spent as many years in the online space, and as a guest on various television shows, including CityTV News, iChannel and Breakfast Television.
